Magpul PMAG GEN M3 Magazine

The PMAG GEN M3 is the latest generation of polymer magazines for 5.56 NATO / .223 Remington caliber firearms. Designed for Eugene Stoner’s AR15 system and any weapon utilizing this platform, they are compatible with AR-15, M4, M16, FN Scar, SA-80, HK416 / MR 223, and suitable Savage, Remington, or Ruger bolt-action rifles, among others.

The magazine features a durable, low-friction stainless steel spring and an anti-tilt follower. The internal and external geometry of the magazine has been optimized for reliability and ergonomics. The redesigned follower and bolt catch tab ensure proper bolt lock-back after the last round, preventing jams when ammunition remains in the magazine.

The magazine’s relatively slim profile ensures full compatibility with military M16 magazine pouches. The PMAG M3 features an enlarged floorplate and textured surface for enhanced grip. An identification panel with dot matrix markers is located at the bottom of the magazine for custom marking with paint pens. 30-round magazines are additionally equipped with transparent windows to facilitate assessing the loaded status.

Magpul magazines are renowned for the high durability of their polymer construction and are the only magazines of this type approved for use by the US Army. They are available in several capacity variants, including 10, 20, 30, and 40-round configurations.

Some 30-round magazine models may also be equipped with a transparent inspection window.
